Today, December 10, 2009, Barrack Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize. This came with much controversy from both sides of the aisle. The right doesn't think he deserves this honor because he hasn't even been President for a year and the left is upset that he's escalating the war in Afghanistan. These are both valid points, however, this gesture is ultimately a brilliant "FUCK YOU" to george dubya bush. You can call me queer because I still hate fucking bush.

In 2001 I thought invading Afghanistan was the right thing to do. With the Taliban government toppled the people of Afghanistan are free to listen to music, fly kites, shoot junk and do a jig. Now we fear that Al-Qaeda, a terrorist organization currently based in the tribal lands of Pakistan (note: not Afghanistan), will obtain nuclear weapons from the Pakistani government. In an effort to prevent this from happening President Obama is going to send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan (note: not Pakistan).

America needs to be able to protect itself without invading others. We need to be vigilant or at least have a President capable of reading memos from the CIA; dubya could have prevented 9-11 had he only been more of a reader. Most importantly we need to be respectful of all nations, not just the G8, not just the G20, but all nations. If we cannot commit to a foreign policy of neutrality like the Swiss then I hope we can at least be a little more even handed like the French. The Zionists should be able to fend for themselves.
